Today (20th May 2019), we held a workshop at Head Office “Managing your own stress” delivered by the Hummingbird Project in conjunction with Business in the Community. We had 13 employees attend the session, including skype dial ins from our regional offices.
The Hummingbird Project is a community interest company, a not-for-profit social enterprise. With over 25 years’ experience the main aims of the project includes supporting those with mental health issues to recover, up-skill people in resilience skills, innovate new solutions in mental health and to create exciting projects around emotional health.
As part of today’s session employees discussed the different types of stressors and their individual coping mechanisms, e.g. people, places, activities, entertainment and food.
