John Sisk & Son Ltd / Lagan Aviation & Infrastructure JV selected to undertake Dublin Airport civil engineering framework

Lagan Aviation & Infrastructure, in Join Venture (JV) with John Sisk & Son Ltd, has been selected by daa to undertake its Dublin Airport Airside and Landside civil engineering framework worth over €325 million. This fully integrated JV between respective engineering firms will utilise Sisk’s position as the leading building & civil engineering contractor in Ireland and Lagan’s position as a leader in worldwide aviation and airport infrastructure development.


The Airside and Landside Lot 1 framework is part of daa’s Capital Investment Programme 2020+ for Dublin Airport (CIP 2020+) which is designed to deliver continued growth over the medium term in line with Irish government policy.

This Framework consists of a number of civil engineering and infrastructure projects to upgrade the pavement, drainage, and electrical systems at Dublin Airport’s boarding gate piers, aircraft stands, terminals, aprons, taxiways, and the general airfield campus, in line with daa’s CIP 2020+.

Sisk has previously completed major Irish civil engineering projects including, Luas Cross City, Limerick Tunnel, and is currently working on the Dunkettle Interchange Upgrade works in Cork. In 2019, Sisk completed the Boeing Gold Hangar at Gatwick Airport in London.

Lagan Aviation & Infrastructure Limited has completed several recent high-profile airport projects including projects at Ireland West Airport, London City Airport, and London Southend Airport.
