Northern Regional College - Newtownabbey

This project included the design and construction, ready for occupation, of a new build Skills Centre and Workshop with a combined floor area of approximately 4000m² along with the creation, mainly within the existing buildings, of a new social area/kitchen facility and refurbished welding and general engineering training facility with a combined floor area of approximately 2000m² .

The project involved the co-ordination of a variety of construction and fit out work packages over an 18 month contract period. Works where completed during the college term time so special consideration was given to the logistic management on the project as well as the securing of the site both during work hours and overnight.
