H&J Martin provide Asbestos Training for JAC clients

H&J Martin Ltd, a long-standing member of the Employers’ Forum Construction Cluster, provided places on its in-house Asbestos Training course during July 2011 to five Job Assist Centre (JAC) clients.

JAC is a community-centred employment service which strives to challenge the exceptionally high levels of unemployment, economic inactivity and poverty in West Belfast. They do this by providing mentoring and support to those furthest from the labour market and by removing barriers to employment.

The training carried out by John Thompson (FM Health and Safety Manager) was really well received and the knowledge gained will no doubt improve their job-readiness, as all five are hoping to make a return to the world of work.
